Why Poetry?

I truly enjoy poetry.

So I decided to write some and share it with anyone who thinks poetry is pretty cool.

I admit that I'm not Edgar Alan Poe or anything like that at all . . .

but I hope that I can bring a smile to your face with my writing.

I'll try to update with a poem a week but poetry takes work to I doubt I'll be able to do that consistently.

I hope if you don't think poetry is an "art" I'll be able to maybe show you the long process a little better.

I hope you enjoy poetry . . . and it doesn't have to be mine.
